Collection: Galaxy Cases Fugaku Sanjurokkei

"Nishiki-e" is a type of Ukiyo-e, a genre of genre paintings from the Edo period, which are woodblock prints with multiple colors. This Samsung Galaxy smartphone case features "Fugaku Sanjurokkei" (Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji), one of Hokusai Katsushika's best-known works.

The first edition of Fugaku Sanjurokkei (Thirty-six views of Mt. Fuji) was created around 1830, and is thought to have been published between 1831 and 1835. The first 36 drawings were printed with indigo outlines, and the additional 10 drawings were printed in black ink. The first 36 prints are called "Omotefuji" (front side of Fuji), and the latter 10 prints are called "Urafuji" (back side of Fuji).
